Optimum: An operational and decision-making tool
This solution
has a simple and user-oriented interface to enable
retailers to define and monitor buying
budgets, strategic plans, products plans,
store plans and assortments.
It allows forecasts and objectives
to be updated mid-season and information to be
monitored at any level.
The software includes two modules (Colombus Decision and Colombus
Objectives). Colombus Optimum allows retailers to plan and analyse
their activities using historical data, sales comparisons by period or
by article, as well as other parameters such as sales objectives or purchasing
budgets. It is both a management and decision-making tool,
designed to facilitate managers’ choices.
Based on forecasts, Colombus Optimum provides automatic
management of supplier orders, allocation and inter-store
transfers, stock replenishment, seasonality and store location and pricing
policy (taking into consideration price flexibility, promotions and markdowns).
